Cailyn Mathis

Cailyn Mathis is a versatile dance artist, choreographer, and teacher based in Avon, Ohio. She has taught at numerous studios across the Northeast Ohio region. Throughout her education and training, Cailyn had the opportunity to travel nationally, learning from and working closely with many renowned industry professionals, including Tessandra Chavez, Kyle Hanagami, and Kevin Maher.


Cailyn is an alumna of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a business minor. She has worked with and performed the works of notable choreographers such as Tommie-Waheed Evans, Juel D. Lane, Shayla Vie Jenkins, Kim Bears-Bailey, Sidra Bell, and Andrea Miller (Gallim).


After graduating in 2020, Cailyn spent time teaching and choreographing before embarking on her first international contract with Royal Caribbean. She spent 10 months traveling through Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, performing in the ship’s production show Spectra’s Cabaret. Following this experience, she performed with Holland America Line's Step One Dance Company, where she performed in three different shows over five months while traveling the coasts of Mexico, Central America, and South America.


As Cailyn continues to progress in her career both on and off stage, she values the importance of lifelong learning and strives to use her experience to contribute to the growth of herself and future generations of dancers.
