Catherine Liepins

Catherine Liepinsm currently a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in Los Angeles, CA, with many years of experience in the competition world. Her dance training began as a very young child in Dallas, TX. She grew to be trained 30+ hours a week in all styles of dance (ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, musical theater, hip-hop, pointe, and acro) and traveled across the country attending dance conventions and competitions. After graduating high school, she went on to receive my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Chapman University along with minors in Business Administration and Leadership Studies. It was at Chapman where Catherine was able to add modern and ballroom training to my repertoire. Throughout her time at Chapman, she was a member of the Dance Honor Society, as well as the Chapman Dance Alliance. After graduating in 2020, she gained representation with Clear Talent Group. Catherine’s professional credits include a variety of films, television shows, music videos, and live performances.She has had the pleasure of being involved with companies such as Justin Giles’ SoulEscape, dancing on the Drew Barrymore Show, performing in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Halftime show, and dancing backup for several music artists. In the summer of 2019, she had the opportunity to travel to Israel and train with Batsheva Contemporary Dance, Vertigo Dance Company, and Kibbutz Contemporary Dance. She currently a teacher at working closely with students of all ages and levels to help inspire and nurture their love for dance. She has learned so much from her years of teaching dance and have developed a strong ability for providing instant constructive feedback for her students.

She utilize dance to expand her artistic voice in order to contribute and connect to the community and world around her. She find a large amount of joy in sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of dancers.
