Destanee Brigman-Reed

Destanee Brigman-Reed is a highly accomplished dancer, choreographer, and judge with a strong foundation in competitive and collegiate dance. Beginning her training at the age of five, she developed a versatile skillset in contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, and musical theater. As a youth competitor and instructor, she earned numerous awards and taught creative movement for over a decade.

Destanee was a four-year member of the nationally recognized Wichita State University dance team, serving as team captain for three years—making her the youngest to hold that position. She was named an All-American by the National Dance Alliance six times and was honored as Wichita State’s Athlete of the Year. Her choreography has been featured in collegiate and high school performances, and she has performed at major events including the NJCAA and AAC Basketball Tournaments.

Currently a pediatric nurse, Destanee remains active in the dance community as a respected judge.
