
Jack Scarlett
Jack Scarlett is a professional tap dancer, teacher, and choreographer currently based in Tampa, Florida, where he recently joined the cast of Summer Nights at Busch Gardens and teaches intensives and master classes throughout the Tampa Bay area. Previously based in Boston, Jack performed with professional companies including DrumatiX, FutureSTEP, Jam Youth Project, and New Jersey Tap Ensemble’s NJTap2. He also served as a featured performer and Dance Captain for the inaugural stage shows at LEGOLAND® New York.
Jack began dancing at age 11 at his mother’s studio in St. Augustine, Florida, where he quickly discovered his passion for tap. As a competitive dancer, he earned numerous top adjudications, scholarships, and regional and national titles, known for his fast-paced technique and commanding stage presence. He has trained with leading tap artists including Derick Grant, Sarah Reich, and Dianne Walker, and has assisted at major conventions nationwide. Jack continues to create innovative choreography for stage, film, and live music collaborations.
