
Jayda Powell
Jayda Powell is a dancer and instructor from Jackson, Michigan. She graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, earning the prestigious Maggie Allesee Four-Year Dance Talent Scholarship. Jayda is a certified Dance Masters of America and Acrobatic Arts instructor and trained under notable artists including Meg Paul, Biba Bell, BAIRA, and Lisa Wilmot. During her time at Wayne State, Jayda performed works by Della Hamby, Adam McGaw, Meg Paul, Jill Cassidy, and Stephanie Troyak, among others. She began dancing at the age of three and started assisting in dance classes by twelve, later teaching independently and offering private lessons by fourteen. Jayda brings extensive experience across multiple dance genres, along with professional performance credits and training with instructors nationwide. Some of her most meaningful dance moments include her first professional stage performance and performing in the freshman-year gala at the American College Dance Association with Wayne State University in Brockport, New York.
