Josh Zacher
Josh Zacher is a Jewish American dancer, choreographer, actor, and singer, and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned a BFA in Drama with honors. He also trained at the University of Michigan's Summer Dance Institute and Broadway Dance Center's Summer Professional Semester.Â
As a performer, Josh has been a Dance Captain and appeared in the ensemble of the 1st National Tour of The Prom, played Larry in the National/International Tour of A Chorus Line, and was part of the world premiere cast of The Elf on the Shelf: The Musical. His regional credits include performances at The Kennedy Center, North Shore Music Theatre, Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, The Ordway, Kansas City Starlight, and others. Josh has appeared on Dance Moms, TRL (the reboot), Live! With Kelly/Ryan, and in the independent film Interabled. He is also a founding company member of the American Musical Theatre Dance Company and a member of the Actor's Equity Association.Â
He has worked with institutions like NYU Tisch, Emerson College, The Florida Thespian Festival, and more. Josh was Associate Choreographer for Disney’s The Little Mermaid and has assisted Broadway choreographer Josh Prince. He also adjudicates dance competitions and teaches across the tri-state area.
