Kayla James
Kayla James embarked on her dance journey at the age of ten, dedicating nearly twenty years to mastering jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. Her early passion for dance led her to compete in numerous competitions throughout the Northeast. Kayla's talents took her to Walt Disney World and earned her a role as a dancer for the prestigious Miss America Pageant.
After high school, she continued her dance career at Rider University, pursuing a BA in Business and Sports Management with the aim of supporting dancers in managing their professional careers. During this period, Kayla toured with a popular dance competition and convention. Facing challenges due to injuries, she redirected her focus towards teaching and choreography.
Kayla has served as both permanent and guest faculty for studios along the East Coast. Her choreographic work has earned accolades on regional, national, and international platforms, including recognition for her contributions to the USA Junior Olympic Gymnastics Program.
Her commitment to dance education was acknowledged with prestigious awards from the National Endowment for the Arts in 2021 and 2022, solidifying Kayla James' position as a trailblazer in the field.
