Libby McKenzie

Libby McKenzie is a professional dancer and choreographer currently based in New York City. She graduated as Presidential Scholar from Western Michigan University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance in April of 2023. While at WMU, she performed in student, professional, andself-choreographed works. Most notably, she performed “Inertia,” choreographed by KelseyPaschich, “Woman,” choreographed by Tsai Hsi Hung, and “8 Stages of College” by KatyCopeland. Post-graduation Libby has had the privilege of dancing for CPR Dance: Inhale Movement, Querencia Dance, Steme Dance NYC, Joyce King/JKing Dance Company, PaygeLecakes, and Matty Mahoski. This past April, she presented a duet titled you, are fluent in me at New York’s Dancewave. In the competition dance world, Libby has choreographed numerousaward-winning works for all ages since 2017. Her innovative, conceptual choreography has been recognized throughout her time choreographing. She is excited to be inspired by somany youngdancers this season!
