Malinda Micho


Malinda Micho is a seasoned dance professional with a distinctive combination of expertise in dance and physical therapy. A graduate of the University of Iowa, she holds degrees in both fields, bringing a well-rounded and informed approach to training, performance, and injury prevention.

Malinda has held leadership roles as a competitive company director and Artistic/Company Director, demonstrating her ability to guide dancers toward both technical excellence and artistic growth. During her time at the University of Iowa, she performed in works by distinguished guest and faculty choreographers and presented her own choreography in multiple showcases.

Her advanced training includes participation in the prestigious Hubbard Street Dance Chicago summer intensive, further strengthening her foundation in contemporary dance and performance.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Malinda has instructed a wide range of styles including poms, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, tumbling, and adaptive dance. She has worked with dancers of all ages and abilities across the Midwest, earning a reputation for her versatility, commitment to student development, and passion for inclusive dance education.
