Maria Day

With over 23 years of experience in dance instruction, local and touring performance experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance, and various leadership roles within the dance industry, Maria Day brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the judging panel.

Throughout her career, she has developed and implemented comprehensive dance curriculums, to foster not only a love for dance, but also to help students discover and build personal autonomy while promoting their physical, intellectual, & spiritual development. Maria has had the privilege of choreographing numerous musicals and producing full-length dance concerts, showcasing the diverse talents.

Maria’s life experience as a performing artist, teacher, choreographer, producer, administrator, and leader, coupled with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance, has equipped her with a deep understanding of dance history, choreography, pedagogy, and various dance styles, as well as technological innovation in the field.
